Our Policies are located in the student agenda

The library media center is available to all students on a daily basis and includes books, movies, equipment, three classroom computer labs and research materials.
1. The library media center will be open from 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Please feel free to visit the library with your students.
2. All students have the following borrowing privileges.
a. Three items may be checked out at one time.
b. Books and movies may be borrowed for two weeks.
c. Magazines may be borrowed for one week.
d. Reference books and equipment (headphones, microphones, jump drives) may be borrowed overnight.
3. Students may renew all materials up to three times if a hold has not been placed on the item by another student. Items may be renewed either in the library or online using the student’s library number. Please notify the library staff of absences so fines can be waived.
a. Students are responsible for all materials they sign out. Students are required to reimburse the library for lost or damaged materials. Failure to remain current may prohibit students from attending school social functions.
b. Reference materials and equipment that are overdue increase .25 ¢ per day. All other fines are .05 ¢ per day, per item.
c. Fines must be paid to receive additional materials from the library. Please contact the library media center to inquire about alternative solutions to paying late fines or replacing lost materials.
d. Overdue information can be received via the email address on record, by paper copy and through the online catalog. If you or your child would like to opt out of the email notification for overdue library materials, please contact the library media center.
4. Our school subscribes to informational databases to provide students online encyclopedias, periodicals, news and additional quality informational resources. Passwords to informational databases may be received in the library media center.
a. A quiet, studious atmosphere is to be maintained in the media center. Parents will be notified of their student’s unacceptable behavior. Students are to visit websites assigned by their classroom teacher or to satisfy their school project. Students are NOT to visit game sites.
b. Our library recommends all students obtain a Cuyahoga County public library card so additional materials and informational databases may be made available to our students and delivered to the library branch closest to their home.
